Ashley N. Smith, Esq.

Ashley Smith is an Associate Attorney at Trustice Law Group, where she practices family law and criminal defense.

Ashley's interest in this work took shape during her internship with the Henrico County Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court. There she worked with survivors of domestic violence and saw firsthand how the court system works for families and individuals facing serious legal problems, often at their most vulnerable. That experience gave her a clear sense of why this work matters and how much a steady, prepared advocate can make a difference.

A Richmond native, Ashley chose this path as a way to serve the community she grew up in. She values the chance to meet and help people from all walks of life, and she approaches each client with patience, respect, and a commitment to keeping them informed at every step. She works closely with the firm's senior attorneys and staff to give every case careful, thorough attention.

Ashley earned her bachelor's degree in political science from James Madison University and her law degree from William & Mary Law School. She is a member of the Virginia State Bar.

Outside the office, Ashley enjoys gardening, playing video games, and spending time with her two dachshunds, Teddy and Prince.
